BPW International
Connecting Women Around the World
BPW Brampton Caledon is part of a worldwide network of business and professional women working together to advance women’s leadership, economic empowerment, and equality.
About BPW International
Founded in 1930, BPW International connects women across more than 100 countries on five continents. Through mentoring, networking, professional development, and advocacy, members contribute to positive change locally, nationally, and internationally.
BPW and the United Nations
BPW International has a long-standing relationship with the United Nations. Since 1947, it has held consultative status with the UN Economic and Social Council (ECOSOC), providing opportunities to contribute to international discussions and policies affecting women and girls.
BPW representatives engage with UN activities and international organizations to advance women’s rights, economic opportunities, leadership, and gender equality.
Commission on the Status of Women (CSW)
Each year, the United Nations Commission on the Status of Women brings together governments, international organizations, and civil society to review progress, address challenges, and advance gender equality worldwide.
CSW71 takes place March 8–19, 2027, in New York City. BPW members can take part in the global conversation through opportunities in New York and online. Many parallel events are open to participants who are not official UN delegates; some require advance registration.
