Dr. Sherry Cox is a graduate of the Ontario Veterinary College (OVC) and the founder of the National Wildlife Centre. With a distinguished career, she served as Associate Dean and Chief Operating Officer at the Ontario Veterinary College Health Sciences Centre, where she led the design and launch of the Animal Cancer Centre, the Primary Health Care Centre, and the Companion Animal Specialty Hospital.
Currently, Dr. Cox teaches wildlife medicine and rehabilitation at the University of Guelph, the National Wildlife Rehabilitator’s Association, and the International Wildlife Rehabilitation Council. Her extensive experience ranges from treating birds, bears, and moose to helping endangered species across Canada. She is deeply committed to protecting Canadian wildlife as an essential part of our ecosystem. Dr. Cox’s work was also featured on the television show Hope for Wildlife.
In addition to her wildlife work, she has experience in companion animal emergency medicine and veterinary business consulting. Dr. Cox is excited to meet you and your pets at Glendale Veterinary Hospital.
