About Our Speaker

Alana currently serves as the Director of the President’s Office at World Vision Canada (WVC) and is widely recognized for her leadership, compassion, and lifelong commitment to advancing the rights and well-being of women and children around the globe. Prior to her current role, she was WVC’s Director of Fragile and Humanitarian Affairs, where she oversaw critical programs in some of the world’s most vulnerable regions, including South Sudan and Haiti.

Over her 17+ years in international development, Alana has worked at the intersection of gender equity, humanitarian response, and community resilience. Her firsthand experience supporting families navigating conflict, displacement, and extreme poverty has given her a powerful perspective on global peacebuilding and women’s leadership in fragile contexts.

Alana is known not only for her strategic expertise, but also for her warmth, integrity, and unwavering belief in the strength and potential of women and girls worldwide. Her insights promise to both inspire and challenge us as we reflect on our own role in creating a more equitable and peaceful world.

Join us for an evening of connection, global awareness, and heartfelt inspiration as we hear from this remarkable leader.
